Four modes let you study a set with other people in real time. Squad Marathon shares one weekly goal across a team of two to six. Co-op Raid turns your answers into damage against a boss. Match Duel is a live one-against-one race on the same cards. Team Relay puts the right answer on exactly one teammate's screen, so you have to talk to each other.
Release notes: Study together, the four live modes
Squad Marathon
Two to six people chase a single weekly goal together. Everyone's correct answers go into the same total, so a quiet day from you is covered by somebody else's good one, and the pressure is spread across a week rather than landing on a single session.
Co-op Raid
A boss with a health bar, and the whole team attacking it at once. Every right answer damages it; every miss heals it. That second half is what makes it different from a shared score — a teammate guessing wildly actively undoes the group's work, so accuracy matters more than speed.
Match Duel
One against one, same cards, first to clear the board. It is the only mode where somebody else's pace is visible while you play, which changes how it feels considerably.
Matchmaking pairs you with someone at a similar mastery level rather than whoever happens to be waiting. A speed race between two people who know the words to very different degrees is not a race, it is a demonstration, and it is discouraging for one of them within about fifteen seconds.
A duel needs a set of at least four words, since a board smaller than that has nothing to race over.
Team Relay
The one that requires speaking. The answer to the question in front of you is on exactly one teammate's screen, so nobody can finish alone and the round is spent describing what you can see.
It is the odd one out here, because the vocabulary practice is partly a side effect. You end up saying the words aloud to each other, which none of the solo modes ask you to do.
Getting into a game
Duel can either match you automatically or take a six-character room code from a friend. Squad, Raid and Relay all start from a code you share with the people you want to play with, so they are built around a group you already have rather than around strangers.
Every live mode needs an account. Turkish and English are both supported, and your sets work in any language pair, so a group studying any two languages can use all four.
